  • Visit to Bristol Aquarium

To start our new learning experience, Into the Deep, Pippin Class visited Bristol Aquarium. The children were able to have a guided tour from one of the marine biologists who shared a huge range of information with us, about the various fish and sea creatures they have.

We explored different ocean and water habitats, including coral reefs, shipwrecks, rock pools as well as rainforests.

We particularly enjoyed hearing about 'Shelia' (a giant grouper) the largest fish at the aquarium and visiting the sharks and rays. All the children had the opportunity to feed the thick-lipped grey mullet, which gobbled up our fish food very quickly! It was fantastic to watch.
