Welcome to Russet Class

Russet Class (Years 5 and 6) are taught English and Maths in the mornings by Mr Macdonald. We come together with Years 3 and 4 in the afternoons, for our foundation and are supported by our learning support assistants – Mrs Ryall and Mrs Clulee.

We enjoy being creative throughout our lessons, through hands-on experiences, ensuring that we are ambitious and active learners, showing resilience and confidence and always trying our very best in all that we do.

Our homework:

Our homework is handed out every Friday and is due back in school on the following Wednesday. Our homework consists of weekly spellings, times tables, reading and an English or Maths task that is completed in our homework folders. For those in Year 6 we also have homework set from CPG SATs books.

PE:

PE is every Tuesday and Thursday – Children need to come in wearing their PE Kit on those days.
